Damage to edge of records |
I am assuming this too be caused by the band that holds the records in place on
the carousel.
I can only think of two solutions
1. Replace records
2. Line support band with a Teflon strip if I can source some
Update - I am told it is more likely to be the gripper damaging the record
edges. I will look into this.

Chrome looking a little worn
|
Looks like many hands have leaned on the machine in its life causing wear to the
two dome side castings. Pitting on other chrome items and some knock and
scratches.
Solutions are to leave as is, have them professionally re-chromed or for me to
polish and re-chrome with a home plating kit.

Side panels/cheeks looking tatty |
Obvious signs of damage when transported, see photographs, also requires the
"T" moulding replacing.
Two solutions
1. Remove and replace whole sides, seems to be a big job as they are structural.
2. Cut out damage, replace and re-cover with new Formica
